So Not A Pig

I wrote this song after I had broken up with a really nice guy, who I later married, but we had broken up. And my friend Mandy said how sorry she was because she really liked him so much, at which time another girl walked through the room and said (to no one in particular), "men are pigs". To which I replied, "but he is so not a pig". Well, there it was. I had to write that one. Turned out to be a real crowd pleaser in my live shows.
so not a pig

my friend Kate says men are losers, she says they're all just pigs with cars
she says everybody knows it and they should all go back to Mars
she refuses to accept the prospect that you might be true
my Friend Katie doesn't know you. if she did, she'd love you, too

'Cause you are so not a pig
you are so not a loser
oh, I know I waste my breath
when I recite your virtues to her
she says I'm crazy to love you
but I'm lovin' you Big
you are so not a loser
you are so not a pig

my Aunt Fay's been disappointed, she is bitter, she is sad
she says "girl, you must not trust him even though you want to, bad"
I explain you are trustworthy and exceptionally kind
she maintains that I'm naive and that my heart has made me blind

but you are so not a pig
you are so not a liar
you deserve to be adored
and the object of my desire
I'm not crazy to love you
and I'm lovin' you big
you are so not a loser
you are so not a pig

okay, so I've had my heart broken once or twice
I may even admit some guys aren't all that nice

but you are so not a pig
you're my angel on fire
you deserve to be adored
and the object of my desire
I'm not crazy to love you
and I'm lovin' you big
you are so not a loser
you are so not a pig
